OMG.
i almost turned into a mammoth while uploading the photos.
TOOK DAMN LONG!

ok, so time for sydney update! :D
this will be like my LONGEST post ever.
DAY 1 - 6th March
it's still in Singapore, not sure if it should be DAY 1 haha.
ours is a midnight flight, so we had dinner at home and everything before setting out!
TIME TO GO!
took a train to the airport.
omg pls, the ride lasted a whole HOUR!
and mrt seats suck.
halfway through, many ppl boarded the train and it was super crowded and squeezy.
thank goodness we got seats.
our ez link cards!
ohmy i had such short hair back then!
see ab's retarded ez link, like a paste paper leh!
reach T2, and we took the sky train to T3!
i rmb testing the sky train service last year during our T3 visit (:

he was in the midst of GLAMOROUSLY PICKING HIS NOSE IN PUBLIC.
HAHA.

then mummy & daddy queued up for checking in our luggages.
so eb ab and i went to sit down (:

ready to board the plane!
the moment the plane started moving, i felt dizzy like hell.
i'm not those who enjoy plane rides honestly :/
makes me feel sick.
but i dont puke lah, it's not that serious.
watched ENCHANTED.
not very nice leh :/
eb was like telling me i MUST watch it.
like super nice leh, in the end i wasnt that good.
i fell asleep halfway LOL
then, halfway through the flight, the cabin crew surprised mummy with a birthday cake and card!
retarded daddy requested for it! :D
the cake was SHIOK!

after a whole 7 hours of flight, we reached the sydney airport! :D
DAY 2 - 7th March
i was extremely exhausted despite sleeping on the plane.
it was a BAD BAD sleep.
super uncomfortable lah.
i was like half dead dragging the luggage.
daddy went to the information counter to ask for directions, and i fell asleep on the couch!
like those HEAD FALL BACK kind.
but mouth closed lah.
unglam i know, but i was really tired!
bought the travel pass, and it entitles us to 3 days unlimited rides on regular buses, express buses, explorer buses, trains, and even the ferries!
i thought it was cool!
but damn expensive lah, one adult was like AUD110.
so, 4 adults and a child it's like... omg dont want to think alr.
it was early morning at like 10 plus their local time.
3 hours difference.
we took a train to WYNYARD STATION, and then a bus to our place, which is LANE COVE (:
nice name right.
our apartment was 41A, 302 Burns Bay Road.
i like the name lah :D
but then, the bus driver retardedly thought it was 41 Burns Bay Rd, and told us to alight WAYYYY TOO EARLY.
in the end we asked around for directions and realised we were over 200 houses away from our place!
and the next bus wont be coming until another 20 minutes time, so we decided to walk.
it was a whole half an hour of walking up and down the slopes, carrying the luggages, dying, really.
saw this big Hi-5 sign very near our house.
MAYBE THEY'RE THERE!
i used to wake up at 9am every sunday to watch this okay.
eb and i could memorise EVERY SONG & DANCE STEP.
I STILL LIKE THEM, I'M NOT ASHAMED OF IT :D
childhood rocks please.

FINALLY!
our BIG BIG beautiful apartment!
it's really spacious and pretty!
AND CHEAP.

this house is reeeally long, there's a picture later of the whole house (:
master bedroom.
there were TWO of this room.
so eb and ab slept in a room, while i had the other all to myself!
LIKE I NEED TWO BEDS FOR WHAT LEH.
washed up and went out for dinner.
we were hungry alr, so we settled for a pizza place nearby - Zapperelli's Pizza.

plain cheese pizza, cos ab the CARNIVORE hates veggies.
and the Mediterranean pizza.
we were super full after dinner, so we took a walk nearby.
the temperature was cold as it turned dark.
we went to COLES, a supermarket there to do some grocery shopping for next day's breakfast.
then it rained! :(
we didnt have an umbrella or anything, so we WALKED IN THE RAIN!
that was our worst night throughout the trip pls.
we wanted to take a cab but there was none in sight!
australia's transport ends super early in the evening lah :(
we were like freezing in the streets.
reached home, washed up, and went to bed straight.
DAY 3 - 8th March
mummy's birthday! :D
she made breakfast for us (:
corns, hotdogs, smoked salmon and cheese sandwiches, apple juice.
NOT BAD HUH!
after our hearty breakfast, we went out and started our sightseeing!
people there plant BEAUTIFUL trees and flowers!
the climate there is so nice to grow them pls.
took a bus out to the city, and then the SYDNEY EXPLORER BUS!
this bus takes us to many stops where famous building are, it's like a sightseeing bus for tourists (:
alighted at PADDY'S MARKET (:
it's similar to our bugis street, selling clothes, souvenirs, accessories..
they have fruits and veggies there too!
we had lunch at a shopping mall there.
the food is crazily expensive!
even the rice at the food court is like AUD9 per plate.
but the serving is super big lah.
moody ab cos her chicken rice sucked.
HAHA
eeeyer.
then it was to CHINATOWN!
nothing much to see there actually.
like quite waste time leh!
so we hopped onto the explorer bus again and headed to the SYDNEY FISH MARKET (:
daddy's favourite leh.
they sell all kinds of seafood there!
we went in to take a look.
it's so huge lah!
omg lobsters :D
i think this looks super gross!
big swordfish.
walked around a while, and then we left for the SYDNEY AQUARIUM!
really nothing much to see there.
the variety pretty much sucked.
and the entrance fee was so expensive!
we spent like over a hundred bucks there.
AND, i didnt even get to see the PLATYPUS :(

anyway, we went for mummy's birthday dinner after that!
daddy said he wanted us to have a good meal, so we went to DARLING HARBOUR.
all the expensive restaurants are there.
ate at NICK'S BAR & GRILL.
seafood feast pls.
we ordered this seafood platter which was HEAVENLY.
fresh lobster, prawns, crab, oysters, calamari, etc.
AUD132 bucks.
this plate of pasta is like AUD25 bucks.
damn expensive lah really!
but daddy wanted to make mummy happy so he was really okay with it.
OF COURSE WE WERE OKAY WITH IT MAN!
the lobster was really really fresh and succulent!
cabbed home after dinner cos PUBLIC TRANSPORT ENDED :(
the cab ride was like less than 15 minutes and the fare was like AUD22 bucks!
the base fare was alr like AUD4.50 cos we had 5 persons.
then the meter was crazy.
EVERY SECOND, trust me, it's really every single freaking second, the fare increased by 5 cents.
that's freaking ALOT!
DAY 4 - 9th March
woke up early and went to BONDI BEACH.
had breakfast at QUEEN VICTORIA BUILDING.
waiting for the BONDI EXPLORER at the bus stop (:
ready for the beach! :D
again, this BONDI EXPLOERE BUS stops at many pretty places, and we were given like 5 minutes to alight and take photos at some of the nicer places.
then we reached BONDI!
it's a pretty pretty beach!
there weren't that many peoole (:
but we saw many boobs HAHA.
found a spot to put down our stuffs, and off we went to hit the waves!
mummy didnt like getting wet, so she relaxed on the beach and looked after our stuffs.
daddy eb ab and i were super excited!
the waves were SSSHHHIIIOOOOKKKK!
like super shiok really.
we'll NEVER get the same huge waves her in singapore pls.
NEVER.
we played in the water for DAMN LONG.
after that when we finally came up after an hour or so, our skin was red!
like while playing we didnt realise at all, then when we came up to wash up and everything, it started to hurt :(
SUN BURNT ALR.
but it was really great fun :D
washed up and waited for the bus to get back.
the bus took a long time so we started to JUMP again (:

we jumped like a million times cos it was so hard to snap that right moment!

we wanted to just eat subway but daddy was so high he didnt mind spending again.

this dish is called the WAGYU SAMPLER.
different cuts of wagyu beef there, from no fats to alot of fats.
ok it's MARBLING.
i havent forgotten that okay.
FATS THEN FATS LAH LIKE A MARBLING LEH.
and these few slices of wagyu costs AUD65.
omg.
expensive right, but it's like the best beef i've ever tasted.
damn soft until can melt.

DAY 5 - 10th March
daddy and mummy made breakfast!
smoked salmon and cheese sandwiches!
bacon and leek quiche!
corns and hotdogs (:
headed to CIRCULAR QUAY for our ferry ride to LUNA PARK!
omg i was super excited pls.

we could see the sydney opera house and the harbour bridge on board the ferry :D
the wind was really strong haha!
and then we reached!
there's even a special wharf for LUNA PARK! :D
so cute.
WOOHOOHOO.
i got so excited when i saw the entrance!
daddy wants to cheat lah tsk.
but it was free admission for everyone lah (:
we just need to pay for the rides.
so in the end daddy only bought tickets for the 3 of us kids.
eb is pissed that she's short HAHA.

this is ab's favourite ride besides her WILD MOUSE ROLLER COASTER (:
OMG THIS IS THE WORST.
it was extreeeemely scary!
we really had to find our own way out through the dark maze, and there were real "prisoners" inside to scare us!
i was the eldest so i had to lead, while ab and eb were behind me.
imagine i had to experience all the scares first lah OHMY!
there were fences here and there, and we were supposed to feel our way out of the maze.
as in, the whole place was pitch black, while the lights came on and went off every second.
so it was kind of like, flashing?
then inside there were many men posing as the "PRISONERS" to scare us.
there were mirrors too, so i kept seeing grey sillouhettes but i dont know if they were me, or the prisoners.
and then they had scary make up like bloody eyes, big scars, messy long hair.
and they really shout and grab you!
IT WAS REALLY SCARY.
halfway i kept going back to the same place, i was stuck.
i kept hitting a mirror and i couldnt find my way out!
i screamed like every 2 seconds cos there's someone waiting to scare you at every turn and every corner!
then there was this prisoner who kept following me when i was lost.
i couldnt see anything at all but i knew he was in front of me.
WAHLAU!
super scared lah!
like, i wanted to dash forward but i was so scared!
then he was like shouting and laughing eeerily.
omg.
so i pushed my way through like quite violently and he grabbed me!
i almost shit in my own pants!
i wanted to sit down and cry and give up until they turn on the lights.
but that wouldnt ever happen lah, so i HAD TO FIND MY WAY OUT.
took me like 20 over minutes.
finally i found the exit and i screamed my way out!
SUPER SCARY LAH OMG THIS WAS THE WORST THING I EVER TRIED IN A THEME PARK.
trust me i almost died okay.
tried some other rides and we stopped.
i had a bad headache after all the screaming lah :(
lunch at the SYDNEY TOWER.
some mexican dish - tortillas, mashed beans, and avocado dip.
NICE!
and SUBWAY!
i thought of yenchyi while eating this HAHA.
that day we went back early cos we were tired.
went to shop for groceries at COLES again before heading back.
bought lots of food cos we were cooking our own dinner that night!
i helped okay :D
beef steak, asparagus, and mushrooms
EB THE DISHWASHER.
ab and her new toy LOL
all kinds of cutlery, plates, bowls, everything!
all provided leh so shiok lah.
cheaper than hotel somemore omg.
and the pasta salad we bought from the supermarket!
there's kangaroo meat too!
it's really nice and yummy, although a bit expensive :/
simple dinner, but we really enjoyed it! :D
DAY 6 - 11th March
woke up at 5am cos we booked a day tour to the BLUE MOUNTAINS, and we had to gather at the four seasons hotel at like 7!
5am there is like 2am singapore time pls.
my whole SLLEPING SYSTEM went haywire there lah.
went to a cafe for our BIG AUSSIE BREAKFAST.
it sure is big man!
doesnt look that big here in the pic..
but trust me, the plate is like much bigger than my head pls.
ONE PERSON HOW TO FINISH PLS!
NO WAY.
the guide came to fetch us in a small bus, and off we went to the blue mountains!
it was a loooooong ride, and i got to sleep :D
went to the FEATHERDALE WILDLIFE PARK.

and we learnt how to throw the boomerang.
I TOTALLY SUCKED AT THAT.

ab became the BOOMERANG KID in our tour gruop.

then it was to the national park for some scenic walk.

that's THE 3 SISTERS :D
they're just rocks turned into 3 parts by erosion.
but there's this legend, that 3 sisters fell in love with 3 men..
then cos it was a forbidden marriage, then their father turned them into rocks in order to protect them or something.
then he died before he could turn them back into humans, so they were rocks for the rest of their lives.
YEAH RIGHT.
the stupid thing about tourism.
ANYHOW also can make some useless rocks into a tourist attraction.
IRONICALLY, i was there to see it.
ZOMG.
apparently this plant took 200 over years to grow to this state.
our guide jeff told us.
then it was lunch at WENTWORTH COUNTRY CLUB.
eb ran out of pants cos she lazily didnt pack her jeans.
so she had to wear mummy's loose OR BIT pants!
lunch provided was great!
there was dessert too, and it was my facourite APPLE CRUMBLE! :D

the food was GREAT and the presentation was PRETTY!

the serving was like damn big and their service was really nice too.
daddy ate his steak, we all tried and found it too rare, so he asked for them to make it well done.
they changed a whole new set for him!

DAY 7 - 12th March
slept in after a long day, and we went to the SYDNEY FISH MARKET for a feast.
our sydney pass expired alr, so we did quite alot of walking.
transport was expensive pls, and the weather was not abd, so we decided to take a walk there.
walking was not a problem, but the thing is, we didnt know our directions well, so we took a LONG time to find the place!
walked for a whole hour plus, and finally reached :D
waiting for mummy and daddy to return with our seafood feast!

omg the baby octopus looks really yucky!
abalone was damn cheap seriously.
one was for like AUD8 bucks only!
eat until shiok.
omg sashimi is shiokness leh.
damn fresh and nice!
it's so expensive here in singapore lah.
so daddy bought a whole box at once.
omg this seafood platter is the ultimate.
it's AUD67 plus i think.
but considering the whole lobster was super super DOOOOPER nice and the oysters were great too, IT'S WORTH IT MAN!
i didnt dare to eat those fresh live oysters vefore, this was my first time.
daddy assured me that it's nice, so i decided to try (:
there wasnt any fishy taste at all, it was really nice with the mash potato and cheese!

went back to the apartment to pack up, bathe and everything.
cos our flight is like at 7am the next morning, so check in 2 hrs before will be like 5am, and we didnt want to risk not getting any cabs so early in the morning and miss our flight..
SO WE DECIDED TO CAMP AT THE AIRPORT.
before leaving, we went for a walk at the back or our apartment.

luckily it's just plain water not wine leh.

after dinner, we left our apt for the airport :(

but dental's coming soon so i had no choice :(
took a night train to the airport.
the cabin is damn cool lah.

reached singapore at 1 plus in the afternoon, and that's the end of our holiday.
i totally loved this trip lah.
we planned EVERYTHING from travel, accomodation to sightseeing, meals OURSELVES.
we literally walked around with maps in our hands, wandering about, and eventually find our way to the right places.
i'm so proud of ourselves man omg.
I LOVE SYDNEY :D
