Brought Gooby to the groomers' today! :D
He looks totally like bambi now hehe.
The usual groomer shifted, to Jurong East! :(
So, we decided to send him to the other one just next door - Pet Essentials.
I did an online check yesterday, and found out that their rates are a little more expensive.
But for the convenience, it didn't really make a big difference for me.
So yep!
When I stepped inside the grooming area, I was quite pleased with the cleanliness (:
There was a big tub with different bottles of shampoos [for different skin types, I guess]
And the whole place smelt nice too!
I put Gooby on the grooming table, and I asked the groomer if I could stay and watch. She was really friendly and welcomed me to stay.
I was excited!
At the previous groomer, I wasn't allowed to watch because the uncle said "You might distract your dog".
Le sigh.
So while Gooby was getting his hair trimmed, I chatted with the groomer.
She was a chatty person and very humorous! :D
2 hours didn't felt long at all.
She worked like a pro, and payed extra attention when trimming the hair on my baby's 'delicate areas' heehee.
She even explained to me how to clean Gooby's ears properly and pluck his ear hairs! She wasn't selfish at sharing tips at all, so nice.
Wheeeee I'm so excited to do that myself when they grow out again! :p
And when I mentioned that I wanted to look for doggy bakeries [Gooby's turning 2 this April!],
she even shared with me how to make a doggy meatloaf :D
And to make it even better, she tied a BOW TIE around Gooby's neck after everything!
Omg my baby looks so happy and smart!
Like he was gonna attend some atas dinner.
Nail art has always been my interest, COS I’M VAIN :p
Nah, I just like drawing stuff!
Sometimes the creative juices just flow, and I use my nails as the canvas!
Wanted to share my ‘works’ online so that people can try it too!
That’s how some of my designs came about too, online inspirations!
Friends encouraged me to do it as a ‘business’ [thank you aunty huixian!], and I thought, why not?
Not like as in ‘business’ business, but it’s a bonus if people appreciate my art and in turn I earn some bucks from doing what I like.
So yep!
Okay anyway main point is, I am super thankful by what the friends did for me this birthday, trying to help me in my little venture by showering me with nail polishes as gifts!
I even got a nail art wheel to practise on now!
You all have no idea how shocked I was! *weeps*
I feel bad for making you guys spend so much on me, but I will put them to good use!
THANK YOU, my beloved STB friends, bird, and bestest friend, JU!
As you can see, I already started on my wheel! Heehee.
And the entire collection I own now is such a variety, it’s like the nail polishes are giving birth on their own! [ok, bad joke]
All I want to say is, although I started goobynails just for fun at first, now I really want to work hard and do it well.
Though I am not even remotely close to being a pro, and even if I don’t earn much from it, I will still continue to create cool stuff that people like.
Because this would be the least I could do to thank the friends for supporting and believing in me.
T H A N K Y O U.
Psst! If you haven’t seen what Miss Goob has been up to, head over to goobynails.blogspot.comand you might just be amazed! ;)
