work at ORCHARD is finally becoming better!
yesterday, mummy & daddy came to accompany me for lunch!
they came all the way to orchard to eat with me!
SUPER TOUCHED (:
and back at the SVC,
i was serving these 2 guys,
one american one german.
and they were super funny!
they're longtime friends who recently met up.
they keep teasing each other and we just kept laughing!
NICE PEOPLE MAKE MY DAY LAH.
then while i was serving someone else,
this lady came to me and said,
"hey trainee! i met you at the airport!"
then i was like quite shock,
then and i didnt even remember her at first!
until she said "you were at the airport that day right, and you told me abt blah blah blah.."
then i remembered her.
SUCH A NICE LADY!
simple things like that really make me feel super happy.
like, when you serve someone well,
and they remember you,
it's really super sweet (:
oh and that day at the airport,
this THAI GIRL came to me,
and she couldnt speak a word of english.
AND OF COURSE I DON'T SPEAKING FREAKIN THAI.
it was damn hard to talk to her.
she was here to surprise her friend,
and she only has his phone number and no address!
we tried calling him from her hp,
but it couldnt work.
so i brought her to change money,
then tried by public phone,
he didnt answer.
SO BAD LAH!
she kept calling for over an hour plus,
and he still didnt answer,
so she came back to look for me.
wah i really didnt know what to do at first!
cos she had to look for the guy so that she could have the address what.
then if not no place to stay!
so poorthing!
in the end i took her to the CAAS counter,
and asked for a thai interpreter.
took damn long to look for one,
cos the thai was not on duty.
in the end we had to call so many number to get someone who can speak thai.
but then,
the problem STILL could not be solved,
cos the only way is to wait for the person to answer the phone and give us the address.
if not she has to camp at airport alr.
so i tried calling with my phone.
HE FINALLY ANSWERED LOR!
wah can see the girl's face super happy! :D
so happy for her too.
when he answered the call i was like,
"OKOK! CAN ALR CAN ALR!"
in the end,
he didnt even want to give his address lah!
WHAT A JI DAN GAO!
i was spealing to him on the phone,
and he said "no lah, my place is too small, just ask her to go to tan tock seng hospital. nearby only"
WAH I WANTED TO SLAP HIM!
he didnt even bothered to say WHERE EXACTLY,
and he wasnt even worried that she might get lost!
and what's the link with TAN TOCK SENG!
omgggg lah super bad.
in the end no choice,
i accompanied her to take a cab,
and told the driver to go to tan tock seng :/
that guy said he'll go there to fetch her lor.
sigh, i felt so sad for the girl lah.
poorthing :(
so i gave her my number just in case,
and she was like super thankful,
kept saying thanks.
but then she didnt call me back or what lah,
but i hope she's okay! :/
just that day,
i was speaking to this tourist,
and he was asking "which bus goes to yishun?"
i told him 171,
cos i take the bus too.
chatted a while, then he left.
then slightly a while after that,
i ended work.
i was at the bus stop,
then 171 came.
in the end,
he boarded the same bus too!
and he todali recognised me!
HAHA,
and he was like "EH! you end work alr!"
i got a shock,
cos i didnt see him waiting there at first.
so it was like quite funny.
then i sat somewhere behind,
while he's in front.
i was listening to my zen,
then suddenly he came to sit beside me.
we chatted all the way until i alighted!
SIAO MAN i cant believe it.
he kept telling me about his company,
that he's here to attend a seminar,
blah blah.
he asked me if i was working on weekends,
cos he wanted to take me to the seminar.
I WAS LIKE, WTH.
plus he was really quite serious lor!
he kept asking "you working tmr?"
i said yes.
"then sunday?"
i bluffed that i'm also working.
and cos he's based in malaysia,
he even asked if i wanted to go there with him!
I THINK HE'S MAD SIA!
at first,
i thought he was just chatty,
so i just talked also lah,
then he asked me more stuffs,
like what i want to do next time,
asking me to join the company,
and i was like QUITE SIAN DIAO PLEASE.
he even wanted to get my number,
to CALL ME WHEN HE'S IN TOWN next time.
seow.
i was like, "uhh" for damn long,
but in the end i gave him my email lah.
super awkward lah!
in the end i regret talking to him like mad please.
i should have faked falling asleep or what lah!
WASTE MY TIME!
he is seriously weird lah.
