WORK WAS INTERESTING TODAY!
it was raining madly when i just started work.
HENG i reached already.
gave out ponchos to many many tourists,
we are so sweet (:
very little people came in,
so it was quite boring.
but had more time to chat with new colleagues!
and omg,
they finally came to decorate the SVC!
PRETTY RIGHT!
it's so christmas-y now (:
then cos there were todlai NO tourists,
sapiah suggested we took some photos!
she was todali excited abt it HAHA.

anyway,
i just love the company today (:
oh plus mira and vishnu,
who were out for dinner,
so they're not in the photo :(
went for dinner with UNCLE JOHN!
omg he's so cute lah.
his laughter is super contagious!
i'm like so impressed with him,
like he can always talk to everyone like they're his friends.
to tourists, to us, even buy yong tau foo also can talk and laugh.
SUCH A HAPPY GUY :D
ate and talked,
and he told me abt his job as a tour guide,
how he really loves being in the service industry.
during our small chat,
i realised he's alot like daddy!
like the way they talk and everything.
and oh, we both happen to hate the feedback forms crap!
like seriously,
we serve people sincerely,
as in we really want to help them,
not talk and talk then ask them to praise us in the forms.
just for the sake of collecting the forms.
SPOIL THE WHOLE THING.
then tourists will feel like we want something in return.
no matter how we ask for it,
it still feels weird.
some annoying colleagues,
cannot say who of course,
like to give 4 or 5 at once lor!
the tourists only sitting down there,
or doing the foot massage,
ALSO GIVE!
got so DESPERADO or not :/
then the poor tourists are like,
"what am i filling this in for"
so, i've decided to boycott the whole thing.
whatever lah,
ZERO FORMS FROM ME!
went back to the SVC after dinner,
and uncle john showed me an article.
it was written by a china tourist,
who happened to be an author.
the article was an excerpt from his book,
and it was about how thankful and impressed he was about uncle john!
SO COOL LAH!
i think this is the BEST thing he can receive.
like is REALLY feel appreciated.
not from some retarded feedback forms we force people to write.
DAMN COOL SERIOUSLY.
and uncle john said,
everytime he feels down or discouraged,
he'll read the article and BOOST HIS MORALE.
HAHAHAHAHA (:
while i was in the room reading the article,
i was alone inside btw,
THEN SUDDENLY BLACKOUT!
power failure!
the whole room was dark and i got a shock!
WAH I FASTER CHIONG OUT.
and in the end,
outside also pitch black!
all the tourists were like "WHOA WHAT HAPPEN WHAT HAPPEN."
quite funny LOL.
then the guys went to check and tried to restore the electricity supply,
but to no avail!
HOW COOL IS THAT (:
the whole place was dark lor!
it's all our first time facing such a problem.
only the laptops were still running on battery.
and one single light bulb HAHA.
tourists all running away!
we were like quite high despite the blackout.
like so exciting lah.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
then sapiah called the technician,
and we chatted while waiting for him to come.
some tourists came in still!
but we didnt read the maps in the dark lah,
ask for directions only.
some thought we were close!
the technician came half an hour later,
and everything was back to normal in an hour.
WORK AGAIN LOR.
after work,
we were back in the room changing and packing up,
then sapiah let us eat the SUPER NICE DELIFRANCE THING she bought.
i dont know what's that called,
it's some small brown round pastry,
with white sugar dots on it.
UBER NICE!
