KUKUP WAS FUN!
left home at 6am please!
michele gave me this toy at work,
v retarded and cute right!
i still cannot tell if it's a beaver or bear.
now it's like eb's pet (:
i made this SMALL GUI GUI out of dough!
i am super pro!
eb very high early in the morning!
then after an hour on the road,
we finally reached kukup!
a local family was in charge of "baby-sitting" us!
we were like a group of 18 please!
and this family,
a mother and her 2 sons took great care of us when we were there! :D
VERY NICE PEOPLE!
when we reached,
they fetched us on this LAU POK van to the seafood restaurant.
the van had no door and they still used it!
SUPER COOL!

it was quite dangerous,

reached the restaurant and it's just next to the sea.

eb & i went to use the toilet,
and omg!
it was my first time peeing into the sea!
it was a very simple cubicle with A HOLE,
where you pee into,
the flush everything off with a pail of water.
when i was peeing,
I COULD SEE FISHES HAPPILY
DRINKING MY PEE BELOW!
okay this is kind of gross,
but i was like super excited to pee! :D
i also wondered,
how come people are still living like that!
it's so kampung man,
and dumping everything into the sea,
it's just gross and harming the environment?
but people do just that!
we had quite a big spread!
fresh seafood and LOTS OF RICE.
all of us couldnt even finish half!
while i thought it was wasteful to throw away the leftovers,
daddy said they RECYCLE the rice.

after lunch,
the elder son came to bring us to their house!
it's like that,
we paid SGD45 per pax,
and they let us stay in their house for 2D1N.
i have no idea where they are staying when we're there.
but it's like really their house,
with their pets, personal photos, everything.
it's really like staying in someone's house.
while walking to the house,
OMG I SAW SO MANY COOL STUFFS!
cos the housees there are all above water,
and when we arrived,
the tide was low,
so it was kind of muddy under the houses.
ALOT OF MUDSKIPPERS!
they're like everywhere!
so us kids were like super excited!
we even spotted snakes along the way!

the houses there all look something like that!
similar to kelongs,
but it's more like bungalows built on pillars.

we walked by someone's house and saw these!

finally reached our "house"!

so inside the house,
there were like 5 rooms!
3 bunk beds in each room pls!

there's a hammock!

then behind the kitchen,
there's an outdoor area,
with tables and chairs,
and some games for us too!

this guy selling firecrackers came.
oh yah forgot to say earlier,
the whole point of coming to kukup,
is to celebrate CNY with firecrackers!
apparently it is allowed here,
and everyone who comes here to stay SURE BUY CRACKERS TO PLAY!
so this guy is like our supplier (:
he brought this BIG BAG of stuffs,
with all sorts of crackers inside!
rockets, traditional firecrackers, and even fireworks!
imagine how excited i was! :D

okay then while i was looking at the mahjong set,
i saw this CRAZY SET OF JOKERS.

then us kids started our game of black jack,
with gambling capital sponsored by our parents!

then at 3pm plus,
the nice aunty came by to prepare food for teabreak!
like feed us non stop please!
