Yesterday afternoon, I was home doing beads and writing notes.
When I was done, my head was aching like mad.

Went to take a bath, then I felt super cold.
So I took my temperature; 37.7!

Daddy sent me to the GP straight after dinner.
My head hurt like mad, and I was shivering all the way.
Went to the doctor, and he said I have to go to the hospital to do the H1N1 test.
Cos of my travel history, there is a higher risk.

"I'll call an ambulance to send you to Tan Tock Seng"

For a moment I was slightly excited.
"Wah, first time take ambulance!" I thought.
Then mummy asked him "How much is it?"

THEN HE SAID 80!
Like a 80 bucks for the ambulance!
In the end Daddy drove me to NUH of course.

Reached there and there were so many people!
I was feeling damn weak by the time I was there.
My temperature was already 38.5

There was this lady behind me, crying!
That made me even more scared :(
Went in by myself and waited for damn long.
DAMN LONELY cos mummy couldn't accompany me.
It's a very scary feeling.
Nurses walked here and there, sick people all around me.
I wanted to cry! :(

Thankfully, Ab & Eb kept me company through smses.
Super funny lah they!
Wonderful STB friends messaged me to give concern too.
They're really sweet! (:

I still rmb that time during the SARS period, I had high fever too.
Went to the hospital and was sick for a whole 2 weeks!
How come I keep falling sick when there's these big diseases :(

Finally after 2 hours plus, they called my name.
I had fallen asleep in the Fever Facility Room.
HAHA so paiseh.
But I was really feverish and cold!

Met the doctor, and she was quite nice.
She consoled me and told me all abt H1N1.
I imagined the test to be very scary, with blood tests and all.
But no, no injections whatsoever.
She simply told me that a swab will be stuck into my nose for a few seconds, that's all.

Then she took out this 10cm long cotton bud looking thing,
AND STUCK IT UP MY NOSE!
I almost died!
It went in super high up and super deep!
VERY PAINFUL PLEASE!

When she took it out I thought I was already nose-bleeding.
BUT NO LAH.
Then she put the stick into this test tube like thing.
"I will send this to the lab and the result will be out tmr."

THAT'S ALL?!!
I waited 2 hours plus to poke a stick into my own nose, thanks.
And the whole thing was 90 bucks.
Man, they really know how to earn money.

Since I MIGHT be infected, and the result's not out, I had to be home quarantined.
Went home, took medicine, and slept.
Woke up this morning, and the fever was gone!
Super relieved, but still had to wait for the results.

Worse thing is, I felt okay, yet I can't leave the room.
I even had to WEB CAM the family through msn!
At first it was fun, but then really very sad cos I can't like eat with them all that :/

THE BEST IS,
I couldn't make it to send BESTFRIEND off at the airport!
OMGGG she's leaving for good yet this had to happen.
We wanted to have a Bestfriend's picnic,
but so many things came up and we didn't do that.
Phuket, camps, and she had so many things to pack.
I understand too, but it's just kind of sad.
I didn't even get to pass her the present I bought in Phuket and my letter! :(

Anyway, can't wait for her to be back in November then we can finally meet up! :D

Lunch was terrible!
Mummy made me eat porridge!
OMG I ABSOLUTELY HATE PORRIDGE! :(
It's the ultimate eeew food for me man.
But I still ate it.

Drank alot of barley and water; I never pee-ed so much in my life!
I was so lonely in the room, but fortunately they all chatted with me online.
Like even with Mummy and Daddy! :D

Persuaded Mummy to let me go ahead with the Kukup trip once I recover,
but she was super strict on this and said NO to the end leh! :(
DAMN SAD.
Begged and begged, and she finally relented on one condition:
to postpone the trip to a week later.
SIGH!

But at least still can go before the guys all go into army!
Hope nothing crops up again by then!

Waited and waited and waited the whole day, MOH still didn't call.
It's already past 18 hours!
In the end Mummy called them, and guess what!

Big relieve man!
It's going to be SUPER troublesome if I really kena.
But PUI!
Luckily don't have.
Can't wait for Kukup already! :D:D:D
